Guus is a lawyer and part of Van Doorne’s Real Estate team. His focus within this team is on commercial real estate, Dutch and international real estate transactions, financing transactions and securities. He advises private equity parties, institutional investors, funds, financial institutions, governments and large and medium-sized companies on financing, restructuring and the purchase and sale of real estate portfolios.

He studied at Utrecht University, where he obtained his bachelor’s degree in law and his master’s degree in private law, specialising in commercial real estate law (cum laude). Before becoming a lawyer, Guus taught property law, contract law and insolvency law at Utrecht University.

Guus is valued for his knowledge of property law and his teaching and presentation skills. His enthusiasm and commitment are appreciated not only by clients but also by colleagues.
