Yanara secures €150 million investment from Mirova to accelerate utility-scale renewable energy development in Australia

Van Doorne N.V. advised Yanara Australia B.V. on its joint venture with Mirova in Yanara Australia Investment B.V. Mirova’s EUR 150 million investment will support the further development of Yanara’s utility-scale renewable energy portfolio in Australia, including its flagship Mortlake Energy Hub in Victoria. The project will combine 450 MW of solar capacity with a 600 MW / 2,400 MWh battery energy storage system, making a significant contribution to Australia’s energy transition.

Our team worked closely with colleagues and advisers across Australia, Singapore and the Netherlands on a transaction spanning three time zones.
