Stijn is a member of the Energy practice group and advises clients in the energy sector on legal issues at the interface of energy law and contract law, and represents them in legal proceedings. He advises a wide range of national and international parties, including renewable energy project developers, energy and infrastructure companies, state-owned enterprises, district heating companies, as well as investors in energy infrastructure and energy supply.

Stijn distinguishes himself through his background in litigation. His experience with complex proceedings gives him a keen eye for legal risks and a thorough, well-considered approach, qualities that prove equally valuable in his advisory practice. Stijn is fully committed to achieving the best possible outcome for his clients.

Stijn completed his Bachelor’s degree in Law at Utrecht Law College (Utrecht University) and subsequently obtained a Master’s degree in Private Law – with a focus on liability law – cum laude from the same university. During his studies, he spent a semester at Uppsala University (Sweden).
