Justin Interfurth Alberts

Justin possesses a distinctive ability to find solutions and devises effective (and creative) strategies in disputes. He is assertive and specialises in particular in procedural and liability law, with a primary focus on (international) disputes and proceedings in the fields of financial, corporate and/or commercial litigation. Justin has a particular affinity for attachment and enforcement law and, in addition to his commercial legal practice, specialises in the recovery of national taxes on behalf of the Receiver of the Dutch Tax Administration (lawyer to the Kingdom (Rijksadvocatuur)).

As an all-round litigator, Justin regularly appears in court. He assists and advises clients, with good results, in all kinds of different litigation and liability issues, including different types of contracts, takeover and shareholder disputes, torts and (mass) damage claims. In doing so, he actively seeks solutions rather than getting bogged down in identified issues.

Clients value Justin for his broad legal knowledge and his ability to explain complex matters in an accessible way. Justin puts this into practice by regularly publishing in professional journals and, several times a year, acting as a lecturer and examiner in the professional training programme for solicitors (The Law Firm School). He has further expanded his expertise by completing the postgraduate specialisation course in Corporate Litigation at the Grotius Academy cum laude (2023). Justin has been a lawyer at Van Doorne since 2016.
