Mathijs is part of Van Doorne’s Corporate Law team. His expertise extends across the entire spectrum of corporate law, including mergers and acquisitions and advising on setting up complex joint ventures. His career at Van Doorne began within the IT & Outsourcing team, where he gained valuable experience navigating complex legal issues with an IT component.

Mathijs’s natural interest in technology and law, combined with his background in IP, IT and Privacy and his previous experience within the IT & Outsourcing team, enable him to grasp the technological issues involved in mergers and acquisitions quickly and effectively. He has the ability to get to the heart of a problem quickly and to find solutions that are widely supported.

Besides being a lawyer, Mathijs is co-founder of a wine brand.
