Merel is part of the Healthcare & Life Sciences team. She assists, advises and litigates (for) parties within the healthcare and life sciences sector.

In addition to a bachelor’s degree in health & life from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, Merel obtained a bachelor’s degree in law and a master’s degree in healthcare law from Erasmus University in Rotterdam. She also worked for some time as a lawyer at the Dutch Healthcare Authority (NZa). Her experience (in various capacities) in the healthcare sector enables Merel to approach legal issues from different angles.

Merel is able to translate the complex playing field into a pragmatic solution that utilises the qualities of everyone within that field. With clear problem analyses translated into a workable roadmap, Merel helps her clients reach a solution.
