Pay Transparency for Works Councils

The European Pay Transparency Directive will soon be transposed into Dutch law, strengthening the principle of equal pay for men and women for equal or equivalent work.

For works councils, this brings expanded rights of consent and information regarding remuneration and job evaluation. The flyer below sets out the key elements of the Act, with particular attention to what this means in practice for the works council’s role.
