Elise Stormmesand

Elise is a senior associate in the Funds & Investment Management team and specializes in financial (regulatory) law within the asset management sector. She advises asset managers, pension funds, and other institutional investors on compliance with legislation such as AIFMD, MiFID II, UCITS, EuVECA, EuSEF, the Dutch Pensions Act, and sustainability regulations such as the SFDR and the Taxonomy Regulation.

Elise has extensive experience with complex sustainability issues and advises on compliance with, and the integration of, these regulations into policies and processes. In addition, she is involved in the structuring of (alternative) investment funds, including private equity, private debt, renewables, and real estate funds, and advises on discretionary and fiduciary asset management.

In 2025, Elise completed the post-academic specialization program in Financial Law at the Grotius Academy with honors (cum laude).
