Philippine Pranger

Philippine Pranger, as Head of AI & Innovation, is responsible for AI, legal technology and information security within Van Doorne. As a lawyer specialising in information law and privacy, she has extensive experience assessing technical solutions for organisations and ensuring their safe and responsible deployment. Before joining Van Doorne in 2021, Philippine worked as a privacy lawyer at, among others, KWF Kankerbestrijding, Lidl and ACTA, where, alongside her legal work, she was also involved in process improvement initiatives. She brings this experience to her current role.

Together with Lodewijk Heinsman, Head of the AI Practice Group, she leads the firm’s multidisciplinary AI team. The team runs an integrated AI programme across the firm, ranging from strategic policy to the practical use of AI tools in both legal workflows and internal operations. They work daily on secure LLM implementation, workflow optimisation and hands-on AI training for all colleagues, enabling them to improve their quality, work more effectively and unlock new possibilities with AI. This combination of strategic vision and practical application positions Van Doorne as a unique frontrunner in applied legal AI.
