Jelle de Ruijter

Jelle translates legal requirements directly into working technology. As a Legal Engineer within the AI & Innovation team, he works alongside lawyers and other professionals to build extensions for legal tech tools and apps and develops AI solutions that make work easier and more effective.

Jelle studied law and has been fascinated by programming and technology from a young age. As well as building solutions himself, he also advises the organisation on new developments in legal tech and AI and helps the organisation make the best possible ‘buy or build’ decision. Thanks to over ten years’ experience in legal innovation with top 10 law-firms in The Netherlands and his deep, hands-on knowledge of legal tech and AI, he ensures that clients benefit from lawyers who, thanks to well-organised implementations, work more efficiently and are able to focus entirely on providing incisive and personalised legal advice.
