Cees is an experienced authority on administrative law, with a particular interest in environmental law. In that field, he advises public authorities and real estate professionals on a daily basis or he conducts proceedings before the administrative courts.
Cees combines expertise with creativity in his work. According to him, a knowledge of the law alone is not enough. Commitment and the guts to go off the beaten track are indispensable for being of added value to clients.
In addition to his work as a lawyer, Cees teaches administrative law in the professional training programme for lawyers. With colleague Gijs Verberne, together with the Aldermen’s Association, he took the initiative to set up a postgraduate course for aldermen. He gives lectures for this course too.
In his spare time, Cees enjoys playing in a string quartet with friends.
