Van Doorne is organising a General Counsel Day – English Edition on Tuesday, 10 February 2026 at the Van Gogh Museum.

We will begin the day with a short guided tour of this beautiful museum. Afterwards, we will welcome you in the museum’s boardroom to work through a case study: you hear rumours that one of the new board members may have done something in a previous role that raises concerns. How do you, as General Counsel, handle this? The situation escalates in small steps, and at each stage we ask: what do you do now? The aim is to prepare you for such situations and to exchange insights with peers. We are inviting participants who we believe have valuable perspectives to share with one another. Lunch will, of course, be provided.
