Femke Leegstra

With strong analytical skills and a goal-oriented approach, Femke is dedicated to her clients. She communicates clearly and combines professionalism with empathy. Femke specialises in corporate criminal law, particularly in the areas of international sanctions, anti-money laundering regulations, investigations and compliance. Through her previous experience in Van Doorne’s M&A practice, she understands the dynamics within corporates and utilises her corporate law knowledge in criminal cases.

Femke obtained a bachelor’s degree in Law and in Philosophy and completed her master’s degree in Criminal Law cum laude at the University of Groningen. She is a member of the Dutch association of young criminal defence lawyers (NVJSA).
