Julia is a lawyer in the Criminal Sanctions Law & Investigations practice group. Julia is dedicated and enjoys working with others. Her ability to understand and integrate different perspectives enable her to find innovative and long-term solutions. According to her, real successes are shared successes.

Prior to this, Julia worked in the Financing & Restructuring team. There, she gained valuable experience in (cross-border) finance transactions, including acquisition finance, real estate finance and healthcare finance. In these complex transactions, she assisted both lenders and borrowers, so she knows better than anyone that different stakeholders have different interests. The client’s interests are always paramount in Julia’s work.

Julia obtained a master’s degree in private law: commercial legal practice, from the University of Amsterdam and joined Van Doorne in August 2022. In February 2024, she switched to the Criminal Sanctions Law & Investigations team. She was also seconded to a social law firm for six weeks.
