As an insurer, you want to put the relationship with your insured first, but your relationship with other insurers is equally important. Van Doorne is able to advise on the cover you want to provide and on how you serve your insured. If disputes arise, we resolve them efficiently, keeping in mind the interests of all parties involved. Where necessary, we also jump into the breach for you and your insured and defend you against unjustified claims.
Activities
Our activities cover virtually all types of insurance. The ‘financial lines’ – such as directors’ and professional liability and fraud insurance – are at the core, but third-party liability, cyber and warranty & indemnity insurance are also familiar products. Our firm-wide expertise adds significant value in this respect.
As we have been working with and for insurers for years, the Chambers rankings and the Legal 500 have long recognised Van Doorne as a Tier 1 insurance firm. Our long-standing relationships with national and international insurers and insurance programmes are the foundation of our strong insurance practice. We are expanding this practice through our London office.
