Led by our Teamlead Knowledge & Innovation, our multidisciplinary team of legal tech engineers and privacy and security officers is committed to implementing the latest developments in AI and legal tech on a daily basis.
We are ambitious and leading the way: since January 2025, lawyers Lodewijk Heinsman and Thomas Dasselaar have joined the team as AI & Legal Transformation Advisors. From their dual role, legal and technological, they translate the latest AI innovations directly into concrete solutions. This unique combination of in-depth technical knowledge and years of legal experience ensures that clients benefit from cutting-edge technology, applied with the insight and reliability you expect from us.
In this composition, the Knowledge & Innovation team with technical background and combined legal expertise drives an integrated AI programme. From strategic policy to hands-on implementation of AI tools in legal workflows for our people and clients. All our colleagues go through an intensive training programme on (i) the technical foundations of generative AI, (ii) advanced skills to effectively apply, critically assess and optimise AI-generated output, and (iii) proactively recognising and managing risks such as bias, hallucinations and over-reliance on results.
