Van Doorne welcomes Matthijs Driedonks as a partner with effect from 1 July 2024. Matthijs, from HVG Law, focuses on strategic M&A and private equity. His arrival strengthens Van Doorne’s position in the corporate transactional practice and underlines the growth ambition of the Corporate/M&A team.

Matthijs started his career at Allen & Overy in 2004. In 2016, he made the move as a partner to HVG Law, where he successfully set up and led the Amsterdam M&A practice. Under his leadership, the practice has received two nominations and won the prestigious annual M&A Awards once.
