Van Doorne advises on the management buy-out of Arc Games and Cryptic Studios

Van Doorne advised Project Golden Arc, Inc. as Dutch legal counsel on the acquisition of Arc Games and Cryptic Studios from Embracer Group AB through a $ 40 million management buy-out. Pillar Legal acted as lead counsel on all US legal matters in the transaction. The management buy-out was funded by XD Inc., a Hong Kong-listed video game developer and publisher. The transaction was funded by XD Inc, a Hong Kong-listed video game developer and publisher.

Arc Games a Dutch publisher of live service PC/Console games, including Star Trek Online and Neverwinter. Cryptic Studios develops these titles.
