Others about Van Doorne

Recommendations and prizes

Van Doorne has won various prizes in recent years, for example for the high quality of the services it provides. Numerous recommendations in leading international guides are further evidence of the recognition that there is for our work. That recognition also confirms our ambition to deliver optimum quality and service, and our particular approach, which can be summed up as being “keen and eager”. Some essential aspects are our up-to-date professional knowledge – including of the market – tailored to the client’s situation, and an ability to come up with solutions rapidly. This is how we provide added value, both at home and abroad. Here are some of the prizes and recommendations that we received in recent years.

Sonja Boekman Prize

Van Doorne won the Sonja Boekman prize for the most effective diversity policy for women. The prize is a joint initiative of OSR Legal Training and the Netherlands Bar Association.
Long before gender diversity became an issue in the professional services sector, Van Doorne stood out from other law firms due to its large number of female partners.
Van Doorne’s proven diversity policy and the embedding of that policy in the organisation were decisive factors for the jury.

Incompany 100 2008: “Best business services provider"

In 2008 the independent Incompany business magazine conducted their fifth survey examining how clients rate their business service providers in nine different sectors. With an average score of 8.11, Van Doorne distinguished itself by placing first in the category for lawyers and civil-law notaries. We were also placed first among all business services providers.

San Accent for our employment market campaign “The Van Doorne Law”
Scoring higher than 8, Van Doorne won a “San Accent” in May 2009. This is an important annual prize for professional communication awarded by the Advertisers’ Jury Foundation [Stichting Adverteerdersjury]. Our campaign really impressed the twenty-member jury.

KNB Innovation Prize for diversity policy

Van Doorne’s notarial services division won the 2009 Innovation Prize for diversity awarded by the Royal Notarial Association [KNB]. In the words of jury chairperson Els Unger, "Van Doorne has a well established diversity policy that is a model for other firms."
