Schiphol Area Development Company N.V.

Schiphol Area Development Company N.V. (SADC) was shored up by its shareholders with the contribution of land and capital in the amount of € 80 million. After redistribution, the shareholders (Province of Noord Holland, the Municipalities of Amsterdam and Haarlemmermeer, and Schiphol Group) now each hold 25% in SADC. This capital injection reflects the intention of the parties to strengthen their regional partnership in order to boost the Amsterdam Metropolitan Area’s international competitive position for the long term by means of SADC.

Van Doorne assisted SADC in this development by structuring the public and private shareholder agreements and recording them in contracts and regulations. Van Doorne is also SADC’s legal advisor during the performance of these contracts by means of land contributions, for example in the Badhoevedorp-Zuid, Business Park Amsterdam Osdorp and De President projects.
