Listing on Euronext, a rights issue, an exit by 3i, and private placement of new long-term investors. 

Van Doorne acted as lead counsel to Dockwise Ltd. in a transaction ("balance sheet reinforcement") consisting of the following elements:

·          an equity raising of between USD 220 million and USD 250 million by means of direct placements to the largest existing shareholders and the new anchor investors as well as a subsequent rights issue for other existing shareholders;

·          replacement of anchor investor 3i by means of a sale of shares held by 3i funds in Dockwise Ltd. to the three new long-term anchor  investors;

·          secondary listing on NYSE Euronext Amsterdam in addition to listing on Oslo Stock Exchange;

·          and a seat transfer from Bermuda to the Netherlands.

On the Van Doorne team were corporate partners Hugo Reumkens, Harm Uittien, senior associates Friso Foppes and Roos van Waaij and associates Jurriaan Hermans and Tjarda Tazelaar. Roel Botter (partner banking & finance) and Ewout van Asbeck (partner tax) were also on the team.
