Biography
Thijs Clement joined Van Doorne as a tax law partner in 2002. He has extensive experience in international taxation and worked in Paris for four years. His experience is mainly in the area of international corporate taxation, including the tax structuring of mergers and acquisitions, private equity funds and structured finance. He acts for both domestic and foreign multinationals and for financial institutions, usually in cross-border situations. He is fluent in English and French and is a regular lecturer at French-speaking universities in Belgium and universities in France. He is a member of the International Fiscal Association and the International Bar Association.
