Biography
Jaap Kloppers studied law at the University of Utrecht. He read both private law and tax law. Jaap was admitted to the Amsterdam Bar in 2004 and joined Van Doorne in that same year. He is a specialist in corporate law in the broadest sense, focusing on cross-border mergers and acquisitions, private equity, joint ventures, corporate governance issues and corporate restructurings. Jaap successfully completed the postgraduate course Corporate and Business Law at the Grotius Academy in 2010 (with honours).
